I just wanted to drop you a note saying how very happy we are with the LPT-3000R! Frankly I just anticipated something very similar to the remote Avcom analyzer at this price point and I only accepted your offer because you offered a DEMO trial - I was blown away with the ease of setup, the resolution, functionality and overall product feel - its a fantastic product. We have been using it to monitor the teleport 70mhz and L-band receive on multiple satellites and now we purchased another unit to ship to Africa so that we can monitor the "Africa receive" as well.
THANKS!
Sincerely,
Bart Leichardt

I recently purchased the LPT-3000. I like it and it works quite well.
I am considering writing an article about it for Radio Guide. How long has this been on the market? I have the tracking generator option as well as the 300 Hz RBW for AM NRSC tests.
I do not have the Return loss bridge kit. Is this still available? Cost?
Thanks

I just wanted to let everyone at LP Technologies know just how much I like your LPT-3000 Spectrum Analyzer.
When I received the Demo LPT-3000, I immediately "Put It To The Test".
I was amazed how intuitive the LPT-3000 was in leading me through its set up and use.
Being familiar with some other, much more expensive units( not better units, just more expensive units), I had to overcome the "Functional Layout" of the LPT-3000, but that was minor and only due to my repetitive use of my other units and wanting to always look for the same layout on the LPT-3000.
Everything on your LPT-3000 works "as advertized", which is a bit of wonder in these days and times, where many designs fall way short of advertized promises of performance.
I experienced only one minor deficiency, which your very responsive support team is resolving--a minor software issue regarding the averaging the screen readout, when displaying the results, when perfornimng a Frequency Measurement of a heavily modulated carrier.
I perform extensive RF measurements for Commercial entities and Broadcasters. The "built in" assortment of ONBOARD NRSC and other Masks, for Normal and HD Transmission is a real time saver--they are automatically part of the "Stored &Saved Scan (optional)---no more plastic overlays are required to be provided with the measurement when the Scan is printed. What a treat to immediately have the proper Mask for measuring AM & FM NRSC Occupied Bandwidth. You even included the new IBOC HD AM & FM Masks and Made provisions for HD TV Measurements too. Now its "WAY TOO EASY!" to perform these measurements and I am feeling like I should reduce my charges to the customer---I can even use a less experienced person to now perform many routine measurements and know that when they come back from a distant Site, that the LPT-3000 would have kept them from setting it up incorrectly and bring a "Bad" Measurement back to the shop.
Thanks for providing a great, AFFORDABLE, RF Product that WORKS! and always leads me to set it up and use it correctly.

September 2006 Meeting Notes - LP Technologies
Written by Gary Stigall

Thanks to Dr. Sam Lee of LP Technologies for a demonstration their spectrum analyzers for our September 2006 meeting at Fox 6. Attendees, including Bob Gonsett, were particularly impressed by remote spectrum analyzer and the portable unit with familiar user interface, great specs, and even greater price point. Nextel BAS conversion stations can take advantage of the technology to optimize digital ENG feeds, or use as needed around the station.
